1. General Refund Policy

  • Refunds are subject to the cancellation policies of individual service providers, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, and transportation companies.
  • Certain bookings may be non-refundable or may involve cancellation charges as specified at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation & Refund Guidelines

The refund process depends on the type of service booked:

A. Tour Packages & Hotel Bookings

  • Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees.
  • Cancellation 15-29 days before departure: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation 7-14 days before departure: 25% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation within 7 days of departure: No refund will be issued.

B. Flight Tickets

  • Full Refund Scenarios as per DGCA Guidelines
    1. Flight Cancellation by the Airline: If the airline cancels the flight for any reason, you are eligible for a full refund.

    2. Flight Rescheduling by the Airline (Beyond 6 Hours): If your flight’s schedule changes by more than 6 hours (from the original departure time), you can claim a full refund or opt for an alternate flight.

    3. Denial of Boarding (Due to Overbooking): If you are denied boarding despite having a confirmed ticket, and you do not opt for an alternative flight, you are entitled to a full refund.

    4. 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation: For bookings made directly with the airline at least 7 days before departure, you can cancel within 24 hours of booking to receive a full refund (this rule may vary slightly by airline).

  • Flight refunds depend on the airline’s cancellation and refund policy. Some tickets may be non-refundable or have high cancellation fees.
  • Date changes may incur additional charges as per airline policies.

C. Visa Services

  • Visa fees, once paid, are non-refundable, even if the visa is rejected or delayed.

D. Activity & Sightseeing Bookings

  • Refunds depend on the policy of the local tour operator. Some activities may be non-refundable after confirmation.

3. Refund Process

  • Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7-14 business days via the original payment method.
  • Travguru is not responsible for bank processing delays or additional charges imposed by financial institutions.
  • Refund status updates will be communicated via email.

4. No-Show Policy

  • If a traveler fails to appear for a booked service (flight, hotel, or tour), no refund will be issued.

5. Force Majeure Policy

  • Refunds may not be possible in cases of natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
  • In such cases, Travguru will assist in rescheduling or offering travel credits where applicable.
